“Things change as they are discovered.”

Joel Latner

Many people are dealing with challenges and difficult life experiences. Some people are feeling low, or stuck in a rut or trying to overcome significant past events. Others are aware of unhelpful patterns in relationships but don’t know how to change these. Others are looking for ways to explore and (re)discover their lives. In moments of dispair, we often look outside of ourselves to create the change we want, a new job, or relationship or somewhere new to live. And those things may need to change. And then sometimes, we realise that what's most important is to look inwards and discover what is really driving us; beliefs, old patterns of behaviour and what lies beneath the surface waiting toi be resolved. If you are looking to change something in your life, to grow or discover more vitality and fulfilment, to repair what feels incomplete or simly you want to be listened to with compassion and non judgement, then psychotherapy may be right for you.

Psychotherapy isn't right for everyone, but for some people it can bring new and profound insights for you in ways you might not expect.

If you are ready to get some help around areas of your life that feel stuck, difficult or challenging, then arrange a free, no obligation Consultation Session to explore what feels right for you.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Therapy can be helpful if you experience, for example:

  • Panic attacks, feeling anxious or overwhelmed
  • Relationship difficulties or endings
  • Feeling a sense of worthlessness, shame or that there is something wrong with you
  • Feeling sad, depressed or a lack of pleasure or motivation
  • Difficulty with sleep or ongoing worrying
  • Experiencing loneliness and isolation
  • Finding yourself in difficult or destructive relationships
  • Conflict with other people including bullying
  • Questions or concerns around your gender or sexuality
  • Feeling overwhelming emotions without explanation such as anger, fear or tears
  • Fear of intimacy or close friendships
  • Insecurities about who you are and difficulties making choices for yourself
  • Difficulties from the past or fears for the future
  • Feeling stuck
  • Feeling tired of putting others first
  • Life stage transitions: leaving education, becoming a parent or grandparent, leaving work or retirement
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Feeling numb, or a sense of ‘same old same old’
  • Illness and aging

Or you might feel uncertain or not know what it is you want to work on . . .

So who am I?

I have worked as a life coach and Sex Coach since 2018 and completed the taught component of my 4 years training in Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy in 2025. As a Psychotherapist in Advanced Training, I provide a confidential, non-judgmental environment for you to explore what you are bringing at a pace that suits you. Working with clients is a privilege and I feel deeply honoured to be working in this field with people who are ready to explore, grow and live richer and more meaningful lives.

I have a special interest in working with people aged 30 and over of all genders and sexual and relationship diversities and welcome people who have been in addiction recovery for two years or more.

To create a deeper sense of safety, some clients prefer to know some further details before deciding whether to get in touch.

So for clarity and transparency;

  • I am a white, Welsh-born, working-class woman
  • English is my first and only language
  • I am able-bodied and a hearing aid user
  • I am Nerodivergent (Dyslexia and ADHD)
  • I use she/her pronouns
  • I identify as pansexual
  • I consider myself spiritual, but do not practice a particular religion

What to do next

We will begin with an initial 30-minute consultation session by phone call or Zoom video call. This is where we will explore what you are seeking to work on, and I can answer any questions you have. It's at this point we can establish if we are a 'good match' for working together.

The link below will take you to my diary where you can select your preferred date and time for your Consultation Session.

If after your Consultation Session you decide you would like to go ahead and work together, we can arrange your first psychotherapy session.

Psychotherapy is usually offered weekly with 50 minute sessions. Therapy usually lasts anywhere from 12 weeks to 12 months, longer if needed.
